In the winter of 2016 I was one of the people in charge of planning the President's Gala at Southern Utah University. The President's Gala is a formal event held by the university for significant donos to the school and those highly involved with the college.

     I was one of the leaders of a team of students that planned this event. We started planning in October. The other student leader and I attended weekly meetings with the Alumni Board at SUU to pitch our ideas and update them on our progress. It took countless hours to plan all of the decor, food, music, and schedule the event. 

     The event went wonderfully. There were a couple hundred people who attended the event. The event included a musical performance, dinner, and a few speakers.
